18-1-2015 | IGD’s new Working on Waste campaign drew over 70 companies of all sizes together from across the food and grocery industry to help their employees, as consumers, reduce household food waste. From top tips and leftover recipe challenges, to meal planners and the buzz of social media, our Working on Waste activity reached around 650,000 employees in its first year alone! As well as a hugely successful regional roadshow programme, here is a snapshot of the great activity that took place during the month of October. As an industry we take our role very seriously in helping to tackle household food waste and this is a great showcase of the difference we can make collectively through our scale and collaboration.
